Effective October 29, 2026. BuildAtPeace, a brand of Epic Structure LLC · Larkspur, Colorado.
Who we are
This website is operated by Epic Structure LLC, which runs the BuildAtPeace brand, based in Larkspur, Colorado ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect through buildatpeace.com and how we use it.
What we collect
When you request a Land Feasibility Check, we collect what you enter in the form:
- Your name, email address and phone number
- Your parcel address or nearest cross streets
- Project details: whether you own the land, project type, budget range, timeline, your main concern, and how you heard about us
- If someone referred you, their name
When you use the Build-Ready Package calculator and ask us to email your estimate, we collect your name, email, optional phone, the county of your land, any notes, and the home details you entered (size, complexity, extra structures and, if you enter it, your build budget).
When you ask EnergyComfortCalc to email you a house configuration, we collect your name, email, optional phone and the county of your land, and whether you'd like occasional tips. We email you the configuration right away and keep your details and the configuration in our private lead list. We send you tips only if you ticked the box.
When you use the chat assistant ("Ask us"), your messages and its answers are processed by Anthropic, which provides the AI model, and the whole conversation is emailed to our team and kept in our private lead list when you close the chat or leave the site. If you ask the assistant to send a Land Feasibility Check request, it sends the details you give it (name, email, phone, project details) to us in the same way as the form. To keep the chat open as you move between pages, it is stored in your browser's session storage until you close the tab. Please don't share sensitive information such as financial account numbers in the chat. Anthropic does not use these conversations to train its models.
The form also records, in hidden fields, how you found the site: campaign tags in the link you followed (UTM parameters), the page you first landed on, the referring website, and a project size if you came from one of our estimating tools. To fill these fields, the site keeps them in your browser's session storage until you close the tab. This is not a cookie, and it reaches us only if you submit the form.
Our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Form submissions are stored by Netlify, screened for spam and emailed to us. We also email you a link to confirm your address: we send your estimate and add your request to our project management system only after you confirm it. We also keep your request, and notes on our conversations with you, in a private lead list stored with our website host (Netlify) that only our team can open.
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site: pages viewed, time on site, approximate location, device type, and actions such as clicking a phone number or one of our tools, and sending a form (including the project type, budget range and planning estimate you chose, but not your name or contact details). Google Analytics uses cookies. Advertising features are turned off. You can decline analytics in the cookie notice or under "Privacy choices" at the bottom of every page, or with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as "Decline": analytics stay off until you choose otherwise, and the Meta Pixel never loads.
Our blog shows photos and captions from our Instagram account. They are served from this website, so viewing them sends nothing to Instagram. The share buttons are plain links: Facebook receives information only if you click "Facebook". When you comment on our Instagram or Facebook posts, we keep your comment and our reply in our private lead list so we can answer it.
How we use it

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not send marketing email unless you ask to receive it.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that help us run the business and this website, such as our website host (Netlify), our email providers (including Resend, which sends estimate emails and chat transcripts), Anthropic (the AI behind the chat assistant) and our project management software. They may use the information only to provide their services to us.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and project records for as long as required for warranty, tax and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
